Riot Games announced there is an online first person shooter (FPS) in development code named “Project A”. The project is being developed by a new team at Riot Games.
This is the first time Riot Games has ever developed a game outside of the League of Legends universe.
“We’ve put anti-cheat at the forefront of our development, and we will do whatever it takes to preserve the integrity of your matches,” Anna Donlon of Riot Games said.
Project A developers also committed to solve the long time online FPS problem created by network latency. There will be network technology that will eliminate issues like ‘peaker’s advantage’.
Project A is early in development and we likely won’t learn much more about it until 2020. At least they left us with some clips of the game to watch until then. Here is a link to the official website of Riot Games’ Project A.
