Call of Duty World War 2 (2018)

Decemate and Team Envy took 6th place at the 2018 Call of Duty World Championship.

Decemate made a name for himself through the SND scene and he decided to switch to variant at the start of World War 2. Many people in the snd scene were saying that Decemate could translate well to variant and that hype landed him on Enigma6 Group alongside General and fellow snd stars Bevils and Dashy. Dashy had already made the switch to variant in the prior game and seeing the success he had also created more hype for other snd players such as Decemate. The team started out a little shaky online, and despite starting in pools at the CWL Dallas Open, the team only placed top 12. Decemate and Bevils were then dropped and joined DooM Clan with fellow snd star Fero and veteran Ricky. This team was sitting just outside of the top 10 in NA pro points which was the cut off to qualify for stage 1 of the pro league and would have to outplace Enigma6 Group at the CWL New Orleans Open starting in the open bracket. At New Orleans, DooM Clan failed to make it into pools, but made a critical loser bracket run and managed to place top 12, which was enough to outplace Enigma6 Group and compLexity meaning the team qualified for the CWL Pro League Stage 1. In the pro league, the team changed orgs to eRa Eternity and began to prove that they had upset potential, but was constantly called out for making poor decisions with streaks coining the phrase “eRa streaks”. Ahead of the next event, Bevils made the sudden announcement that he was going to retire to pursue a coaching position, and the team picked up fellow snd star Blazt. Despite not having adequate time to practice post roster change, at the CWL Atlanta Open the team played relatively well in the pool going 2-2 with a positive map count, but eventually lost in the loser bracket for a top 16 placement. After going back into the league and getting more practice with Blazt, the team didn’t see too much improvement and still only finished top 12 in the CWL Pro League Stage 1. However, under the org Reckless, the team did manage to place top 6 at the CWL Birmingham Open beating eUnited, Team Kaliber, and Echo Fox in the losers bracket. Seeing the talent and potential in Decemate, Team Envy picked him up to play with Huke, Chino, and Classic. This new team struggled at first and couldn’t seem to find good chemistry and it translated to poor placements such as a top 12 at the SEAttle Open, a top 16 at the CWL Anaheim Open, and a top 12 in the CWL Pro League Stage 2. Despite not placing well, Decemate and Huke became a solid sub duo and had high hopes for Champs. At the CWL Championship, Team Envy only finished second in their pool, but it allowed them to land on the “easier” side of the bracket. After winning their first two winners bracket matches, the team lost in a game 5 to Evil Geniuses in the winners semi-finals and lost to FaZe Clan in another game 5 for a top 6 placement, which was solid given their previous placements as a team.

Call of Duty Black Ops 4 (2019)

Decemate and Team Envy took 4th at Call of Duty World League London in 2019.

Decemate started the year on G2 Esports alongside Blazt, Chino, Ricky, and Faccento. Many people thought this team would exceed in search, but struggle a lot in respawns, and the struggles came to light at the CWL Las Vegas Open where the team placed bottom of their pool only winning three maps and ended with a top 16 placement. Needing more slaying power, G2 Esports dropped Ricky and Faccento for Lacefield and Methodz. This change seemed to fix the lack of slaying as the team started performing better online ahead of the pro league qualifier. At the CWL Pro League Qualifier, G2 Esports only lost 2 series in their pool in a game 5 to Team Envy and a memorable game 5 against Team Heretics forcing them to have to qualify through bracket play where they shockingly lost to Mindfreak in the winners bracket and Red Reserve in another memorable game 5 in the losers bracket, meaning that they failed to qualify for the pro league. This surprised many and Decemate was regarded as one of the better players sitting outside of the league. However due to having a high buy-out from G2 Esports and wanting to wait to get picked up by a solid pro league team, Decemate sat out for the next event and wasn’t picked up in the first roster change window. Although the wait seemed to be worth it as in the second roster change window, Decemate was picked up by his former org Team Envy to play with ACHES, Silly, and former teammates Huke and Fero with former teammate Bevils as the coach.
