Swagg Warzone History (2020)

Swagg has competed in quite a few Warzone esports tournaments and even had a large tournament named after him. On April 15th, 2020, Swagg won the 4th week of the Warzone Wednesday tournament series earning $10,000. Then, on April 28th, he took 8th place in the NickMercs MFAM Warzone tournament. The next month on May 28th, he finished in the top four competing in the Twitch Rivals Teeps Trials Warzone Tournament earning $500. On August 6th Swagg won the Toronto Ultra Payout Warzone tournament earning himself over $16,000. On August 9th, FaZe Clan announced the Swagg Summer $25k Warzone Invitational Duos tournament on their Twitter. Together they paid out $25,000 in prize money to players who competed in the Warzone tournament on August 17th, 2020. Swagg competed in the tournament with NickMercs and they finished in 18th place.

On August 30th, Swagg was one of the first few streamers and content creators to be able to beta test Activision’s new creator support code system. For example using the coupon code “Swagg” in the store on Call of Duty Warzone to purchase a tracer pack will designate a portion of that sale to be paid directly to Swagg as commission. The system is reportedly similar to Fortnite’s system paying 5 cents per $10 spent using the code.
