GLOBAL Patch Notes

Daily Challenges

Now available in Black Ops Cold War Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone, Daily Challenges provide new ways to earn XP bonuses by completing in-game objectives.

Head to the Challenges menu to receive three Daily Challenges every 24 hours, which can be swapped out with reserve Challenges at any time. Choose the Challenges that best suit your play style and complete them at your own pace without losing progress. Any Daily Challenge that you swap out will retain any earned progress and can be completed later.

Each Daily Challenge completed will grant you a healthy sum of bonus XP, so be sure to complete as many as possible to level up even faster on your journey to Prestige Master and beyond.

  • Players receive 3 Daily Challenges each day for Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone (9 total) to complete for XP bonuses.
  • Challenges can be swapped in/out to suit your play style. Instead of new Daily Challenges replacing your current Challenges, they are added to the list of reserve Challenges for each mode, and can be completed any time before the end of the season.
  • Complete Daily Challenges at your own pace without losing progress. Challenges swapped out will retain any earned progress and can be completed later.

COD Black Ops Cold War Dec 9th Patch Notes

Cold War Dec 9th Patch Notes

Cold War Dec 9th 2020 Patch Notes

OverviewGlobalMultiplayerZombies

Today, on Dec 9th, 2020, for COD Black Ops Cold War, Treyarch Studios released a small patch, and these are the notes. The short of the update is that it addressed a few issues that managed to slip through the cracks following yesterday’s quality of life update. In more detail, the update restored the ability to vote on maps in playlists where it was unintentionally disabled, it added Nuketown ’84 back to the Onslaught map list in Zombies, it implemented new stability fixes, and it corrected a handful of UI bugs. They have also added Miami to the Combined Arms map list, bringing the total 12v12 map count to four (4), along with Crossroads, Armada, and Cartel. Zombies players will also now see unique Pack a Punch (PaP) camos on their Ray Gun after upgrading it at the PaP in Zombies.

They stated that they are also tracking two particularly tricky issues since yesterday’s update:

  • Diamond Camo progress is still appearing locked for some players, despite being earned.
  • Some Xbox players are seeing a “Trial Has Ended” pop-up message on the front-end menu.

They thanked everyone for their patience as they work to investigate and fix these issues. As always, you can check out live updates on some of the issues that they are tracking at Treyarch’s official Trello board.

How To Complete The Nuketown 84 Easter Egg Secrets

Nuketown ’84 Secret Easter Eggs

This is how to complete Nuketown 84 Easter Egg Secrets. You have to be ready as soon as the match begins. Then as fast as you can, shoot all the heads off of the mannequins on the map. The mannequins spawn in different locations every game and there are a different amount of mannequins each game. In older Nuketown maps there was a 90 second time limit to complete the Easter Egg. But, in this COD Black Ops Cold War Nuketown ’84 map, you have closer to 2 full minutes. This Easter egg is easier with friends and if done in custom game modes. The Easter egg has two variations that seem to be completely random.

In this video, Bruno completes the Easter egg and shows the variations of both secrets on Nuketown ’84.
