Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2020)

The CDL Toronto Franchise was officially announced by Activision Blizzard in their first quarter 2019 results as one of the first five teams. The next day, they announced the first ever players in the CDL Franchise League with Jurd, Accuracy, Loony, AquA, and Temp joining from Splyce, another team owned by OverActive Media. They would continue to compete under Splyce for the remainder of the season. Before the end of the 2019 season and the beginning of the franchise league, Accuracy left the team.

On October 9th, 2019, Adam Fitch, a journalist from England, United Kingdom, revealed that through the code of the Call of Duty League website that the name for the Toronto CoD team was Toronto Ultra.

On October 24th, 2019 the Toronto Ultra announced their roster for the 2020 Call of Duty League inaugural season.
